CHRISTMAS IS COMING — AND WE HOPE YOU’LL CELEBRATE IT WITH US!
The Christmas stories — both the ones we read in the Bible and watch on our screens — are full of angels. While glowing, flying, haloed creatures might seem absurd, we shouldn’t discount our need for messengers of all kinds who can bring hope, peace, joy, and love. Perhaps we can even be such messengers.
WHAT’S ON TAP
“ANGELS” SERIES
Join us each Sunday at 9:30 or 11am in December as we talk about angels — messengers who meet us in our hours of greatest need of a little divine intervention.
Grove KIDS program
On December 15, Grove Kids will be leading us with Christmas carols at both services and putting on a short Christmas program at 9:30. You won’t want to miss the cuteness!
UGLY SWEATER SUNDAY
Join us on December 22 with your best — or worst — ugly sweater. Don’t have an ugly sweater? Not a problem, but make sure to wear something other than a sweater so we don’t accidentally insult you!
CHRISTMAS EVE
Join us on Christmas Eve at 3:30 and 5pm for a night of story and songs. We’ll light candles, retell the story of the birth of Jesus, and usher in Christmas with singing.
Pajama Sunday
Wake up, roll out of bed, and join us for worship on December 29 at 9:30 or 11am — pajamas and all. We’ll have a relaxed morning of coffee, cocoa, carols, and confections.
