At Christmas, we often talk about hope, peace, joy, and love. And yet as we look around at our lives and our world, we see despair, violence, grief, and fear. How can we hold those things in tension?
This Christmas season, join us as we explore the contradiction of the Christmas story: God coming down in order to lift us up.
WHAT’S ON TAP
“UPSIDE-DOWN” SERIES
Join us each Sunday at 10am in December as we examine the ways that God showed up — and continues to show up — in unexpected ways. We’ll even have homemade Christmas cookies each week.
UGLY SWEATER SUNDAY
Join us on December 10 with your best — or worst — ugly sweater. Don’t have an ugly sweater? Not a problem, but make sure to wear something other than a sweater so we don’t accidentally insult you!
COOKIE DECORATING
Join us for worship on December 10 — then plan to stay after the service to take your swing at creating the best decorated Christmas cookie at The Grove!
Grove KIDS program
On December 17, Grove Kids will be leading us with Christmas carols and putting on a short Christmas program. You won’t want to miss the cuteness!
CHRISTMAS EVE
Join us on Christmas Eve at 3:30pm for a night of story and songs. We’ll light candles, retell the story of the birth of Jesus, and usher in Christmas with singing.
new year’s eve
Wake up on New Year’s Eve morning and join us for worship at 10am — pajamas and all. We’ll have a relaxed morning of coffee, cocoa, carols, and confections.
